"I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for this camp experience, Isabelle had SUCH a great time at camp. She spent last weekend looking at her pictures, telling us stories about camp and still has not washed the ‘Love Ya!’ (written in magic marker by her friends) off her arm. Her last year in school was a very difficult one. I think so much of Middle School is about being like everyone else and there is one crucial way she will never be like her friends. But she was like everyone at Circle and I KNOW how much that meant to her. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!"
Martha Farrell, Wayland, Massachusetts

"Sarah came back in the highest of spirits, eager to share with me the new songs and all that happened this past week at camp. She says she wishes it were a couple weeks longer. And she is eagerly awaiting the time when she can be a Junior Volunteer."
Robert Ebbs, Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts

"Sarah was in Bunk One this year and had a joyous experience at Circle of Tapawingo. As soon as I saw her on Friday afternoon, I knew quite literally from the look in her eyes that she was deeply happy. Her eyes were more intensely green than they've been since Daddy died. She told me that her eyes were green because she was so happy at camp, but that they were also red since she had been crying because she was so sad to leave her friends. She can't wait to go back next year."
Jane Torpie, Concord, Massachusetts

"I just want to say how much my kids loved camp. What a great crew you have and what a great thing you are doing for these kids."
Cathy Armey, Brockton, Massachusetts

"Wanted to let you know that Alana had the most wonderful time at camp! Thank you very much for this experience. Alana cannot wait to go again next year. All my best to the wonderful people who made this possible."
Priscilla Green, Brookline, Massachusetts

"Thanks for providing such a special week for my daughter. She is still pumped up about the experience and telling us snippets of her time with her Circle of Tapawingo friends. Lots of times she talks about camp activities, but she clearly talked about her Dad with campers, too. Sharing with them was on a different level than with other friends, because of their own experiences. I believe there were honest discussions that weren't confused by lack of knowing (fear) what it's like to be missing a parent. Ultimately, my sense is she, at least, doesn't feel alone. My hope is that some of her acquaintances become true friendships. You have really made a difference. I hope we find a way to give something special to others in the way you have for my daughter."
Marian Koetsier, Woodstock, Vermont

"I am writing to thank you so much for providing my daughter with her camp experience. It was a great boost to her confidence and a great comfort to her as we were approaching the one year anniversary of (her father's) death. She loved camp and the people there very much. We are very lucky to have been included. She is writing to her cabin counselors and they are replying. She loves that connection. They sound like incredible people. What you are doing is so valuable. I don't know how to thank you."
Lois Grocki, South Portland, Maine

"For the fourth time, she returned tanned and smiling with a nicer sparkle in her eyes. She retains a stronger sense of self that is wonderful to see! What a gift you give these girls. I don't know what your secret is, but it works! Thank you for all the effort you put into the experience."
Janet Blakeley, Lewiston, Maine
